New Scholarship to Transform Lives at Oxford University
We’re thrilled to announce the Oxford-Lifelines Scholarship, a new fully funded graduate scholarship for 2024! This scholarship, a partnership between Oxford University’s Academic Futures program and the Lifelines International Fund for Education, is a huge step in making graduate study more accessible to under-represented students.
This new scholarship will support a student from an under-represented background—including UK Black and Mixed Black students, those with experience in the UK care system, refugees, and those with lived experience of displacement. The scholarship covers course fees and living costs, allowing the recipient to focus on their studies without the burden of financial stress.
The recipient will be able to complete a one or two-year master’s course in a field related to education, mental health, or community integration. They’ll also receive an enhanced program of support from the Academic Futures team, including welcome sessions, networking events, and pastoral care to ensure they thrive.
Our CEO Madhavi Vadera shared in the excitement, saying, “We are all so excited about this initiative, the collaboration with the University of Oxford, and most importantly offering access to education to students who may not have considered pursuing this path.”
